9/2/78-Giants Stadium,I believe they were $8.50.It turned out to be one of the best of 200 odd shows I would eventually see, with good versions of Jack Straw,FOTD,and the extremely rare happenstance where both the Scarlet and Fire are really well played,to be followed by an equally rare strong take on both Estimated and Eyes,I would have to look at my notes ,but this might be the only night these two pairings gelled to yield such fine music.

Thanks, Jerl. I just hit the Eyes and you did not exagerate about the S>F or the Estimated. This show has that kind of "heavy" '78 sound that I am drawn to like the gravity well of a neutron star.

Glad you enjoyed the show TOOTMO,I am a pretty staunch 68'-74' guy but must admit I have a soft spot for 78'.What is odd is I generally find Scarlet->Fire to be a waste of 20 minutes, and have found very few post 74' Eyes to be listenable,so to have all 3 performed so well in 1 show is highly unusual and possibly unique.
